This is a small, nice looking bag. When it arrived, I liked it very much. The bag I received is soft and supple with no signs of dryness or cracking. It is just big enough for my essentials: wallet, coin purse, checkbook, lipstick, compact, and (only sometimes) my smartphone. After about a week of light duty, though, the straps began tearing the body of the bag. For me, this defeats the purpose of having a strap on the bag, and I usually find myself carrying it like a clutch in an effort to prevent the strap from ripping completely away from the bag. If you only carry light items (5 to 7 ounces combined weight), this bag will probably work for you. For people who carry heavier loads (half a pound or more), my advice is to look further.
